Those who benefit most are often individuals facing pressure or stress in their professional and/or personal lives.

There can be times for all of us when our resilience dips. Fortunately resilience can be developed and enhanced.

What is psychological resilience coaching?

 Resilience coaching uses a strengths-based approach to develop unique inner resources, enabling individuals to adapt to change and thrive amidst the challenges and opportunities we face.

Resilience coaching can improve focus and accelerate personal development of skills, attitudes and behaviours which can lower stress levels and improve personal effectiveness.

It can include

  • identifying and utilising individual strengths
  • developing positive mindsets
  • increasing motivation
  • enhancing flexibility of thoughts, emotions and behaviours
  • defining strategies and developing skills

What to expect from your coach

 I will encourage you to clarify and focus on what matters to you and brings you meaning, purpose and vitality.

 Your goals will be the focus of coaching sessions. Don’t worry if you’re not clear on these. The coaching will help you gain clarity.

I will focus on understanding how you think and experience the world and what’s important to you.

 Sessions will be tailored according to your unique needs, goals, preferences and learning styles.

Many people struggle to name their strengths. I will focus on supporting you to identify and build on your unique individual strengths in your specific circumstances.

I will be supportive and constructively challenging in order to increase your awareness and insight and create clarity.

About Me

I’ve worked for most of my career in the community and voluntary sector; setting up, managing and developing advocacy services and small teams.

Qualified as a resilience coach, researcher, trainer, and social worker; I have years of experience in ‘interpersonal work’ including mentoring, training, advocacy, and coaching. I translate research evidence into practical, everyday-life approaches.

I came across coaching techniques several years ago when I was going through my own stressful time. I was looking for an approach that would value and build on the strengths and skills I had developed throughout my career. Using a strengths-based coaching approach helped me to find new meaning and purpose and adapt to changing circumstances. I  trained as a resilience coach so that I could share my learning with other professionals.

GROW Resilience to manage longer term stress

12 sessions of 110 minutes face to face, video call or telephone (or a blend) scheduled weekly, fortnightly or monthly according to your preference = £85 per session.

Includes check-in support for your progress between sessions.

GROW Resilience to find/renew your purpose

12 sessions of 110 minutes face to face, video call or telephone (or a blend) scheduled weekly, fortnightly or monthly according to your preference = £85 per session.

Includes check-in support for your progress between sessions.

GROW Resilience for personal effectiveness

12 sessions of 110 minutes face to face, video call or telephone (or a blend) scheduled weekly, fortnightly or monthly according to your preference = £85 per session.

Includes check-in support for your progress between sessions.

 Individual ‘Resilience Recharge’ coaching sessions can be booked after completing a GROW Resilience programme, at the cost of £50 per 50 minute session.

If you haven’t completed a GROW Resilienceprogramme resilience rechargesessions are available at the cost of £70 per 50 minute session.
