As individuals we usually have the resources to cope with everyday life,
however events such as bereavement, job loss, divorce, or challenges
to our identity and wellbeing can have a detrimental effect on those
resources. Having made the decision to seek help, taking the first steps
towards choosing a counsellor can be a daunting process. I aim to make this
a more comfortable transition and rewarding experience by providing a warm,
safe and non-judgmental environment, allowing you to talk in confidence about
any issues and thoughts that may be troubling you.
I provide short and long-term counselling, which is tailored to your individual requirements, and offer a free 30 minute, no obligation initial session, to give you the experience of whether working with me would be beneficial for you. Once you have had your first appointment, sessions generally follow at the same time and place each week. The number of sessions you choose to have, depends on your requirement and this can be discussed at our first appointment.
