Counselling is different to talking with family or friends. You can step away from your day-to-day life and give yourself the space you need to explore what’s going on for you. I understand it can feel scary to get in touch with someone you don’t know to talk about not feeling OK. I offer a safe, confidential place where you will be listened to and accepted, as you are.
We have as much time as you need to help you look at how you feel, think and behave. You may want to change yourself or something about your life, and that change can be possible through learning more about yourself. I am trained as an integrative counsellor which means I can use more than one approach, so we can develop our work together tailored to your individual needs.
I have over 12 years experience of supporting people with managing their mental health and I am a university mental health mentor for students. I also specialise in helping people with issues around their work.
I offer short or long-term counselling and a 50 minute introductory session for £10 so you can get a sense of how I work and if I am the right counsellor for you.
