FdSc, BACP Reg.

Humanistic Counsellor

Specialisms: I have considerable experience and a professional interest in working with issues around anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationships issues, personal development, relocation and life transitions, boarding school survivors, pregnancy and birth.

I am a qualified professional counsellor and trained in Person Centred Counselling at the University of Brighton.

As a counsellor, I have worked in the past in both charitable and college settings with adults and young people.  As well as running my private practice, I also work as a tutor teaching counselling skills courses in a college setting.

My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgemental and accepting space for you to explore in absolute confidence your life, feelings, thoughts and difficulties that you may be experiencing.
I work in a humanistic way, which means that I believe that every person is unique and has the ability to grow towards their own full potential and find their own answers within themselves.  My wish is to help you explore and make sense of your situation and be with you on your journey as you work through your issues.

I strongly believe in finding a way of working that most suits you, and in offering you a space that most reflects your needs, so I sometimes draw on other approaches to produce a unique therapy adapted to your own wants and wishes.
