About:

The wound is the place where the Light enters you – Rumi

Together we work to understand discomfort and distress. Such experiences in the present often reflect patterns from the past. Our bodies, emotions and behaviour are profoundly inter-related. Together we will explore this relatedness so that you can resolve and move on from what is no longer serving you. All aspects of self are welcome in this safe and confidential space.

I am working towards registration as a HCPC Counselling Psychologist and UKCP Integrative Psychotherapist. I am a member of the British Psychological Society, and am near to completion of a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute and Middlesex University.

For the past 10 years I have worked for the NHS, in community mental health teams and more recently as a psychological therapist. Since 2012 I have worked as an honorary psychotherapist for St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney and in the counselling sector in Brighton and Hove.

I hold an anti-discriminatory and LGBTQ+ affirmative stance, and am open to difference in all its forms.

I hold full Professional Civil Liability Insurance. I abide by the following codes of ethics: Metanoia Institute, British Psychological Society, United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy.
