There are many things in our lives that can make us feel anxious or unwell, whether it’s the everyday pressures of job and commitments, challenging and uncertain times or the loss of a loved one. And sometimes, we might not feel like ourselves without knowing why.
I am a BACP registered, fully qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor, providing counselling in both English and German. I offer a warm and sensitive approach that sees each client at the heart of the work. I will support you along the way at a pace that suits you, provide you with a safe space to talk and alternative angles from which to view a problem.
Although my background is informed by Psychodynamic theory, I do not have just one way of working. My focus will be on the relationship we develop in the room and how previous relationships have shaped and affected you. I believe that by helping you feel curious about yourself and by offering you a safe space to talk, you will find your own tools to grow and change.
I also like to work creatively – by utilising music, art, writing and dreams – as it will offer you different ways to express yourself when talking is too difficult or just not the right way to make yourself heard.
